The purpose of this map is to provide a comprehensive
visualization of green infrastructure and sewer data at the
neighborhood level. Its interactivity allows for the user to
select and compare attributes of multiple areas.
To begin:
Select a polygon and view sewer data at the Neighborhood
Tabulation Area (NTA) level.

find and select an NTA by full or partial names

draw a polygon to select and compare data of multiple NTAs
(must be fully within the drawn area)
&

edit and delete the selection
– change base maps, and add/remove layers
–
maximize the map, bringing out a collapsable sidebar on
the right
(this button is turned off on mobile)
– pan
and zoom the map back to its starting position
The tabs at the top (right on mobile) provide
access to more information such as NTA properties, bar
charts, and contact information.
Attributes
Select one neighborhood or multiple neighborhood
polygons to view their properties.
Charts & Graphs
Use the polygon selector tools to view charts comparing
data between selected neighborhoods.
Pie Charts
Select a polygon or use the polygon selector tools to
view a pie chart comparing the selected neighborhoods'
pervious and impervious land areas.
Information
Neighborhood Tabulation Areas (NTAs)
were created by the Department of City Planning. By
aggregating smaller neighborhoods and breaking up larger ones,
population data is more normalized and equal across each area.
This map uses NTAs from the 2010 census.
